Management of immunosuppression in post- transplant lymphoproliferative disorders treated with CAR T cells

The use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy for post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) is limited. Here, we report the successful management of a 24 years old patient with refractory EBV-positive PTLD treated with axicabtagene ciloleucel. We also review the literature to further delineate the role of CAR T-cells in this population and refine the management of immunosuppressive treatments during the procedure.
